7 Months Old

KortLyn Shay is now 7 months old and getting bigger and bigger. She still to this day has not rolled over or sat up. She is so content with life she would rather hang out and do nothing but smile, talk and giggle. She is our little pride and joy. We LoVe HeR aLoT....

Silly Girl......

KortLyn loves to sit in the sink and hang out with me when I get ready in the morning. She talks and talks the whole time. I am sure she is saying "get me out of this sink, I can't breath with all the hairspray fumes."

He'S SeRiOuSlY tHe BeSt!!!!!

Okay so I have to say that I have the sweetest husband in the world. I went to Preston tonight with Shelby (Randy's little sister) and the girls to get their hair done. On the way home I called Randy to let him know that we were on our way home and he said that "he was bored and missed us." When we got home he had posted this message to us on the blog (read below). He is the sweetest man in the world and I could not imagine my life without him. He is an awesome Dad and loves his little girls so much.
LoVe Ya BaBe!!!!!!!
Cassie
I love all my 5 girls and miss them even when the hormones are raging. I love you honey with all my heart. I think of you and the girls all the time.
Love You,
Randy

Hugs and Kisses and Snuggles and Love...

The tooth fairy came to visit at our house...

MaKayja finally lost her 1st tooth. She was so excited. When we put her to bed that night she asked if the tooth fairy would leave the tooth for her to have forever & ever. So indeed the tooth fairy did just that and also left her some money. Yah what a exciting time for her.

Troy!!!!!!!

Who said there was a certain age when we all could fall in love with Troy Bolton (High School Musical). KortLyn has accomplished this already. Do you blame her he is pretty cute? To bad I couldn't snap a picture fast enough of her kissing him. hehe

Monster Concert

This is a picture of KodiAnn playing the piano at the Monster Concert. She is getting so good and we are so proud of her for the progress she has made playing the piano.

PuCkEr Up!!!!

We were at KodiAnn's piano recital and I took a picture of KortLyn and relized later that she was totally puckering her lips. What a cutie!!!!

To Boring To Stay Awake

KortLyn was obviously not having as much fun as we were carving our pumpkins. We were busy carving and looked over and noticed that KortLyn was fast asleep in her BUMBO. Randy and I started to giggle and the girls said "Mom get your camera and take a picture of our little cutie." She is so quiet and content. It is a joke in the family that the only time she cries is when she is hungry and then watch out.

PUmPKin CArVinG

We always have so much fun carving pumpkins. The girls get so exited to play in the pumpkin guts... Then of course we always have to save the seeds and cook them. YUM - YUM!

Our little Chubba

KortLyn is getting so chubby!!!! It's getting so hard to carry her in her car seat because she is getting so big. I love to go places with Randy because then I can pass her carrier off to him. One of my favorite things about my babies is that they get so chubby. We just love her!!!!

Little Miss Cheerleader

McKesson is very camera shy, but for some reason she was in 7th heaven posing as a cheerleader. She kept saying "mom take more pictures of me." We love this little girl, she is so much fun and such a joy.

KodiAnn and the Cows

The other day we were getting ready to move the cows closer to home, so Randy had KodiAnn and I come to help him. KodiAnn was guarding a open hole that was between the gate and the shed when one of our steers turned his butt and hit the gate. Needless to say the gate swung hard and smacked KodiAnn in the mouth. She started to cry but we couldn't get right to her because we had cows all around us trying to get into the horse trailer. We finally got to see what had happened and looked in her mouth and noticed that her tooth was broke off. Just our luck. KodiAnn was shook up and still crying when McKesson turned to her and said it's okay KodiAnn I can go back and find your tooth and glue it back on for you. We all started to laugh and KodiAnn forgot all about the pain. Thanks McKesson for the words of wisdom from a 3 year old. It's a good thing for dentists, her tooth is now fixed and her smile looks as good as ever. Just in time for picture day on Thursday.

Oh How She is Getting SO Big

KortLyn is growing so fast and it makes me so sad. Here is a picture taken at 4 months. She is wearing her little pink John Deere overalls that Tracy Smith and Jennifer Wells gave her. Randy was sure proud of these since he has all girls and the only thing they wear is pink and purple with flowers or bears or whatever else is girly. This outfit was I guess alittle manly and still the color pink.

Dad's Little Helper

KodiAnn loves working with her Dad. She is quite the little helper. She would just asoon be with her Dad working on projects, hunting, farming or doing whatever he is doing than be with Mom.

Their Daily SNOZZZZZZZZZZZ.....................

This is Randy and KortLyn's daily routine. Randy could not wait to get home from work or farming to snuggle up with his precious baby girl. I'm not sure who liked it more, him or the baby, or maybe it was me because the house was so quite and I could get alot done.
SWEET DREAMS!!!

Playing Dress Up is a Daily Routine at Our House

MaKayja & McKesson love to play dress up. Whenever we have been somewhere and they are in there normal everyday clothes and we come home the first thing that comes off is the clothes and on comes the dress ups. Oh and then comes the makeup. What some girly girls!

Just Can't Get Enough

I just can't get enough of this little girl!
I kiss her a million times a day.
We have never had a baby that is a total
Momma's girl, but now here she is.
I LOVE IT!!! I guess if it is your last baby
there is nothing better than spoiling them
rotten. She is such a sweetheart and I enjoy every second that I spend with her. Sorry Randy this one is not a Daddy's girl like the rest. It is totally my turn and I am so happy about it. I cherish every giggle, smile, and cry that she has. The one thing I enjoy the most is the smell of her skin, there is nothing like the smell of a baby.

The First Day of School

This is the KodiAnn and MaKayja on the first day of school. I don't know if they were more excited or if I was more excited (maybe the house will be quite for alittle while and we won't have so much fighting). No really I did miss them, but I am not sure that they missed me all that much. They both like their teachers and are having a great time seeing all of their freinds again.

McKesson Ann

This is our little love bug. She is so funny and such a sweet heart. We love her so much and are so grateful for the spirit she brings into our home. One thing that I know for sure about her is that she is a major Daddy's girl. This last year we have seen a new little girl in her and she has come out of her shell. She is more determined than ever and has her mind set on certain things and how they should go. I guess this is all part of getting older. She thinks she is the boss. We don't know what we would do without her in our lives.

This little girl is the love of our lives. She is truely our little angel. She is now starting to laugh and giggle alittle (when she giggles it always gives her the hickups). Her sisters think she is the best thing on earth and spoil her Alot!

Alittle Summer Fun with Lots of Baseball!!

We had so much fun this summer watching the girls play baseball. When MaKayja wasn't playing ball she was busy playing in the sand. But when she would play she did awesome. KodiAnn also liked to play in the sand at that age, but she has retired that and moved onto bigger and better things. KodiAnn did great this year and really improved from the years before. We are all excited for baseball next year even if it does include playing in the sand. These are the memories to cherish for life!!
